The universal readout board software features the capabilities for optic flow, visual data and bias removal. All three options can be separately enabled or disabled. Additionally the optic flow implementation within the universal software allows to freely define up to 10 ROI (regions of interest) for optic flow computation.

The software can be interfaced with the CurvaceViewer application. The application is restricted to ROIs with a fixes size of 5x5 pixels (this can currently only be changed by modifying the application source code) but the device software does not have this restriction.
